How to Install Openbiblio Integrated Library Management System (ILMS)
Openbiblio is an open
source Integrated Library Management System (ILMS). It’s most popular in small
libraries and used in worldwide by different Libraries such as school, college,
university Libraries etc. Software was created in 2002 by Dave Stevens and
currently maintain by the “Hans ver der Weij”. Openbiblio has recommended by
the "American Library of Congress" and used in 900 plus Libraries world widely. It is
browser based software, easy to manage it and written in PHP language.
Openbiblio contains following Modules:
Circulation

Check in and out library items and add patrons’ record.

Cataloguing
|
Create, modify, or delete bibliographic
information records, also can upload
Record into MARC.
|
Online public access catalog (OPAC)
|
An online
public access catalog for library users to search library items.
|
Administration
|
To manage
and configure ILMS, i.e. library staff, items, fines policy, and other
settings.
|
Reports
|
Generate
reports from the database, such as overdue, library materials and etc.
