Who am I?
My Name is Hassan Tanveer Memon, I am Library and information Science Professional.
I’ve done Master’s in Library & Information Science in 2017 from University of Karachi.
Furthermore to my work at the Library, I keep in touch with LIS professional friends. I do love hearing people and learn new things. I do focus on open source applications i.e. Koha software (an open source integrated library system), Dspace software (an open source Institutional Repository) used in libraries.
I am a beginner in the field of LIS profession and want to keep continue to be part of this profession because the future of librarianship is broadly open. The new technology makes this profession very excite and challenging.
Why I blog
I blog about library-related topics that interest me, also share necessary information i.e. jobs information and etc. I don’t have a schedule for postings–just whenever I feel like it.
